How to Obtain the Shero of Wakanda Achievement
The achievement is worth five points. Its description states that you must listen to General Okoye’s message in the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda.
The info is vague. There are two Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda maps, but the description doesn’t state which one has the message. It also doesn’t tell you where General Okoye is on the map and how to listen to the message.
How to Get the Right Map for the Achievement
The map in question is Birnin T’challa. Marvel Rivals has a random map selection system. You don’t know what map you will get until you start the game. Birnin T’challa is one of the Domination mode maps. You can do this achievement in Quick Match or Competitive. The recommendation is to choose Quick Match. So, select Quick Match and queue.
How to Find General Okoye’s Message and Unlock the Shero Of Wakanda Achievement
You need to be in the Warrior Falls region of the map. This is one of the three possible spawn points. You don’t know in which region you will start.
Once you are in the right region, turn around, and notice General Okoye’s statue. It is quite big, so you cannot miss it. Approach the statue and an interaction button will appear.
A dialogue will play. That’s General Okoye’s message. You don’t actually need to listen to the entire message. Just start it and you can get on with the game. You can always listen to the message later and discover the bits of lore behind it.
There are two ways in which you can fail the achievement:
- An issue that prevents the game from recording your interaction with the statue.
- Not completing the match.
The game might not capture your interaction with General Okoye’s statue on the first try. To make sure you get the achievement, interact with the statue a couple of times just to be on the safe side. In case you die, you will respawn in the Warrior Falls region. Take advantage of this and interact with the statue one more time.
The achievement is not unlocked as soon as you interact with the statue. You need to complete the game first. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. The important thing is to play the entire game. Don’t leave after you interact with the statue because you will not get the trophy. The achievement is unlocked once the game ends.
