Megabonk is a roguelike survival game that’s meant to be tough, especially at higher difficulties. There are hordes of enemies everywhere and massive bosses to face. If you’re new to the game, one of the challenges you’ll encounter is finishing Tier 1. This involves finding the boss portal and defeating the boss. If you’re having trouble doing so, here’s how you can get it done.
How to find the Boss Portal In Megabonk
After entering a map, whether it’s the Forest or the Desert, you’ll spawn in a random position, and the locations of the shrines, power-ups, and boss portal will vary as well. If you’re lucky, you might even spawn near the boss portal; if not, you’ll have to do some exploring first.
In order to find the boss portal in Megabonk, simply explore the map until you spot white gusts of wind. This indicates that you’re getting closer to the boss portal. Keep exploring until the white gusts turn red. Once they do, walk around the area until you find the boss portal, which is marked by a large red diamond icon on your minimap.
After it appears on your minimap, the icon will remain visible even if you move far from the portal. If you wander away, a red arrow will show up on your minimap to guide you back to the boss.
How to Spawn the Boss in Megabonk
After finding the portal, press E to spawn the boss. The boss that you’ll face depends on the map and tier where you’re in.
Forest:
- Tier 1: Lil Bark
- Tier 2: Chadbark
- Tier 3: Bark Vader
Desert:
- Tier 1: Anubis
- Tier 2: Anubis
- Tier 3: Anubis
The Desert is rather Anubis orientated. So, expect Anubis..
