In today’s guide, we’re covering Monster Hunter Wilds A Gutsy Move Side Quest. This side quest unlocks after completing Chapter 5 – 3 A Break in the Clouds. Along with all the prior necessary quests. You can pick it up from your Palico at any base camp. For this quest, you have to capture a Giant Vigorwasp. Read on to learn where to find the Giant Vigorwasp and how to capture it.
How To Find A Giant Vigorwasp In Monster Hunter Wilds
To pick up the A Gutsy Move Side Quest, speak to your Palico. After completing the prior quest, Purrfect Plundering. From there, you can head to any location where regular Vigorwasps are located, but keep in mind you have to visit during the Plenty otherwise they won’t appear. You can rest in your tent to set the conditions to Plenty.
Once you’ve done that, you can head to one of three areas: Areas 10 or 13 of the Windward Plains, Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest, or Areas 2, 5, or 13 of the Ruins of Wyveria. Just make sure the location you go to is in Plenty.
You can easily use your map to narrow down the Giant Vigorwasp’s location. Open your Details Map them cycle through your Filter Icons. Scroll down until you see Giant Vigorwasp. Select the Giant Vigorwasp’s location as your waypoint.
How to Catch the Vigorwasp In A Gutsy Move Quest
Once you find the Giant Vigorwasp, catching it is pretty easy. Head to its location and open your inventory wheel. Select and equip your capture net. Aim the net at the Giant Vigorwasp and release it when the bug is in your line of sight.
After you’ve captured the Giant Vigorwasp, head back to camp and speak to your Palico for your rewards.
