One place you’ll get quests in (MHWI) Monster Hunter Wilds is from your trusty and cute Palico who helps you when you are out hunting! With these quests you can unlock new abilities or upgrade ones you already have. The Purrfect Plundering Quest is one of those.
This specific one unlocks the Plunderang ability, which can allow your palico to steal extra materials from monsters you encounter. It follows on from Rath-From-Above Go!
Read on to learn how to start and complete this Palico acquired quest!
How to Start The Purrfect Plundering Quest

Talk to your Palico at any base camp after finishing Rath From Above Go. Your Palico will request that you hunt a Guardian Ebony Odogaron, which is a bit of a mouthful. The monster can be found in the Ruins of Wyveria and depending on your level, can be difficult.
The Guardian Ebony Odogaron is an artificial version of the Ebony Odogaron which never bodes well. They are hostile but provide good materials if you manage to defeat them! These monsters happen to be weak to water so keep this in mind! Also make sure to equip your best weapons and armor to assist in this quest.
How to Unlock The Plunderang Palico Ability In Monster Hunter Wilds MHWI

Do your best to fight the monster. Once you defeat it, report back to your Palico at any base camp and it will give you 5 Nourishing Extract. Nourishing Extract is an ingredient you can use to increase the effects of some medicines so it’s a pretty useful reward to get.
The Palico Support move you get for finishing this quest is called the Plunderang. Keep in mind that it does have a cooldown so if you use it, you’ll have to wait a bit! But it will come in handy while you are out in the middle of a hunt. Next up is: A Gutsy Move
