Once you reach the High Rank in (MHWI) Monster Hunter Wilds, you will be given a new batch of side quests. One such quest is called Beware the Gypceros. This tasks you to fight a monster on the large side which is a Wyvern.
To be specific, it is a poisonous bird whose strength, as you can imagine, is poison. What kind of poisonous bird would it be if it wasn’t capable if poisoning enemies?

How to Start Beware the Gypceros
To be able to get this quest, first finish the quest Continuing Conflict and then go to the Plains Base Camp and talk to Zatoh. He is a rather imposing man who is the leader of the Kunafa Windsong Village and needs your help.
After talking with him, he will task you with hunting a Gypceros in the Windward Plains. This monster is weak to fire so keep this in mind before you set out to complete this quest for Zatoh
How to Complete the Side-Quest
Now you need to hunt a Gypceros in the Windward Plains. Remember, it’s weak to fire so if you play it smart and use fire then you’ll have a good chance at being able to take down this monster. It doesn’t hurt to have some antidotes either because this is a poisonous bird.
Once you finish, go back to Zatoh in the base camp and complete the side mission. In response to finishing this, he will give you 1 Sharp Kunafa Cheese and 3 Carbalite Ores. Sharp Kunafa Cheese can be used as an ingredient and Carbalite Ore is an item to be used for crafting.
