Monster Hunter Wilds – Rath-from-Above Go! (Palico Quest)

(MH Wilds) Monster Hunter Wilds

One of the many side quests in (MHWI) Monster Hunter Wilds is Rath from Above Go! which is yet another quest given to you by your Palico. Your trusty feline friend gives you this quest after you have finished all the previous quests, including Flash Course. This particular one allows your cute companion to test out their new tool against a Quematrice

How to Start Rath-from-Above Go! Quest In Monster Hunter Wilds MHWI

Go talk to your Palico at any base camp. Then you will get the Rath From Above quest, enabling you to finally start it! The point of this quest is to hunt a monster called a Quematrice in Windward Plains. The Quematrice is a Brute Wyvern whose special element is fire so naturally its weakness would be water!

It is on the large side and has a fire resistance so don’t bother with fire-based attacks. You’ll just waste them in the end. As previously mentioned, Water is your friend when fighting this particular monster.

How to Complete the Side-Quest And Earn Palico Support Ability

Once you find the Quematrice the next thing to do is hunt it! Make sure to have your best weapons and armor equipped. During combat your cute palico will summon their new tool, which seems to do explosive damage. Once you are finished fighting this pryo monster you can go ahead and head back to camp. Speak to your Palico to get your reward, making this quest officially finished!

The reward for finishing this quest is 10x large barrel bombs and your trusty little Palico also learns a support move after you manage to finish this quest. This move will come in handy during future fights whenever your Palico decides that they want to use it in battle! It is the explosive move they used during this quest. Next up is Purrfect Plundering
