Mouse PI For Hire Perfect Bog Fondue is a side job from John Brown. He wants a recipe from Old Cheeselegger, however, there are three items you must first collect to obtain it.

How to Start and Complete the Mouse PI For Hire Perfect Bog Fondue Side Job
The Perfect Bog Fondue side job becomes available once you start the Damp Evidence main job. Head to the PI Office and talk to John Brown to start the side quest.
The side job takes place in the same location as the main job. Progress through the main job and start the sub-objective “Search the swamp for clues”. Go through the mines and talk to Old Cheeselegger. He wants you to find three thingies in exchange for the recipe.
Where to Find the Three Thingies for Old Cheeselegger
Don’t finish the main job before completing the Mouse PI For Hire Perfect Bog Fondue side job, as it will lock you out of it.
First Thingies Location
Leave Old Cheeselegger’s building and head east to enter another section of the mines. Make a right after the “Falling Rocks” sign.
Pull the switch, jump from the ledge, and land on the ledge below on the opposite side. Go left and you will immediately find the first item.
Second Thingies Location
Progress through the main job and start the sub-objective “Explore the mansion”. Go up the stairs and tailpick the locked door. Make a left and keep going until you reach the room with a “totally normal wall”. Look to the right and spot the thingies on a stack of wheels.
Third Thingies Location
Progress through the main job and start the sub-objective “Locate the cheeselegger’s base”. The last of them thingies is on the boat in the swamp.
Once you have found all three thingies, continue with the main job and progress through the “Reach the pier and escape” sub-objective until you exit the building. Turn right and make another right after the car to find Old Cheeselegger.
Exchange the three thingies for the Perfect Bog Fondue recipe and return to John Brown to end the Mouse PI For Hire Perfect Bog Fondue side job and collect two tokens as a reward.
