What Are Anomalies?
Anomalies are a common occurrence in STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl due to the disaster that spread radiation throughout the area. Anomalies can range from Electric Orbs to Lava Projectiles. They cannot be defeated, only deflected or avoided.
List of All Anomalies
Below is a list of all anomalies and important information about them.
| Name of Anomaly | Anomaly Information |
| Acid Pools | Distinguishable by their green glow and the green pool on the ground. Avoid stepping on it to avoid damage. |
| Acid Fumes | Distinguishable by the green smoke in the air. Avoid walking into it to avoid damage. |
| Gravity Orb | These will suck you in and deal heavy damage. They are hard to spot, but are characterized by a distortion in mid-air. |
| Electric Orb | A moving, electric orb that looks like a ball of blue lightning. It moves along a path or it can follow you around. |
| Electric Ground | Distinguishable by a blue glow on the ground. |
| Spark Explosion | A glowing ball that does damage when it explodes if you are within range. |
| Storm Vortex | A cluster of leaves marks where these anomalies are located but they’re easy to miss. If you hit one, you’ll get sucked in. |
| Upward Thrust | Identified by flying debris, this anomaly will throw you up into the air without doing any damage. |
| Firepits | Identified by a fire on the ground that will do damage as you get near it. |
| Lava Projecties | A glowing pit of Lava that will throw lava at you if you get too close. |
| Glass Shards | Distinguishable by floating glass shards, this anomaly is easy to miss and will do damage if you run through it. |
| Giant Bubble | A floating bubble that will move towards you if you get too close. If you end up inside of it, it’ll do poison damage. |
