In Saros, finishing the game doesn’t mean it’s the end. There is another ending you can get. You can’t avoid the first ending as it’s the only one you can get. On the flip side, you can’t get the true ending without completing the game at least once. So, yes, Saros does have multiple different endings
How To Get the True Ending in Saros
After finishing the original ending and successfully managing to beat the game at least once, you will be returned back to the passage. From there, the first step is to head to the Shattered Descent. Here, proceed and find the Echelon 3 camp. Head inside the dome and talk to Kayla. The two of you will engage in a cutscene. Here she will mention the radio and that someone says they want to meet Arjun by the red tree.
Finding The Red Tree – Secret Ending
The red tree is located in the Blighted Marsh. Once you approach the red tree, another cutscene is going to play. Kiira is going to inform Arjun that you need to go to the Cathedral in order to see Nitya’s truth.
Watch the holo log that is a recording of Nitya and Kiira. After listening to the recording, you can return to the passage or find a teleporter. Return to the Banyan Tree, and there will be a flashback. Play through it before returning to the Yellow Shore. You fight against the King, but you need to spare him and let him live rather than striking him.
Head into the portal, and another cutscene will appear. Unlike in the first ending, Arjun is not going to turn into the King. Instead he removes the medallion from his neck, stopping the process entirely.
This is considered to be the true ending to Saros. Remember, you do need to play through once and get, what is admittedly the bad ending, to be able to get the ending where Arjun doesn’t turn.
