Star Wars Zero Company Cautionary Intel is a buff with two distinct sources. You can unlock it by making a specific choice during a critical operation and from a Den upgrade. Let’s see what you must do to unlock the buff and how it works!
What Is Star Wars Zero Company Cautionary Intel
The Cautionary Intel effect comes from:
- Choosing Neesh’s lead during the Our Jedi Friend critical operation.
- Unlocking a Den upgrade.
How the Cautionary Intel Buff Works
Our Jedi Friend is a critical operation during which you attempt to find out more about Tel Rea. Both Bennic and Neesh have a lead and you must choose whose lead to follow. If you go with Neesh, you unlock the Cautionary Intel buff.

Cautionary Intel is also a Den upgrade in the Networking category.

The buff description is somewhat misleading. It states that the buff decreases the chance of injury from dangerous operations by 20%. Along with Easy and Extreme, Dangerous is one of the three mission difficulties, which might lead you to think that the Cautionary Intel buff only applies to missions marked as Dangerous. That is not the case. In this context, dangerous refers to any operation during which your operators have the chance to get injured. No matter how you unlock the buff, the effect is the same.
Keep in mind that completing the operation doesn’t automatically unlock the Cautionary Intel Den upgrade. This means that you can get the buff twice. Although not officially confirmed, it is believed that the buff stacks. Star Wars Zero Company Cautionary Intel is a permanent and powerful buff that you should unlock it at least once.
