Where To Find The First Prince of Flowing Sands Locations

The First Prince of Flowing Sands can be in two possible locations, depending on how your last battle ended. If you defeated both the King and the Second Prince of Flowing Sands, you’ll get a Pungent Flesh Chunk. Take this to a cliff next to the Keeper Shrine in the Valley of Despair. Interact with it to summon the First Prince.

However, if you killed the Second Prince but the King got away, you will not get the Pungent Flesh Chunk. From the Valley of Despair Keeper Shrine, go south until you find a small cave. The King is inside and he will summon the boss.

The Boss’s Attack Pattern

Where to find and defeat the First Prince of Flowing Sands

The boss’s strongest attack involves him rushing you really fast, so try to avoid being in front of him most of the time. When he raises both his arms, this is your cue to start running sideways if you are in front of him. His more common attack includes him sweeping his hands. There’s a longer and a shorter version of this. During the longer version, he falls, and this is a good time to attack. Sometimes, he’ll also slam his hands into the ground to keep your distance.

When it comes to attacking, try to attack his front or side. He wears armor on his back, so your attacks will do less damage. A good ability to have is Cloud-step, so you can avoid his erratic movements. Immobilize him as often as you can, since this is always a good tool for getting more hits in.
