The Monk From the Sea boss has five different attacks. It mainly uses its tentacles to attack you, but it has some other moves up its sleeve. In one of its more common attacks, the boss will trust one of its tentacles at you. Your cue to dodge to the side to avoid this attack is when the monk begins spinning. In another tentacle attack, the monk will spin itself around with its tentacles twice. Dodge right before it begins spinning.

The monk will also leap through the air and try to stomp you into the ground. The moment it leaps, dodge. It’ll also hold itself up in the air with its tentacles before charging you in another attempt to stomp you into the ground. Once it holds itself up, move away.

Lastly, the monk will use ice from the ground and slam it into you. The boss will spin before doing this attack, which is your sign to dodge.

In order to defeat Monk From the Sea, start off the fight by hitting the boss with all you’ve got. That includes your spells like Immobilize and Pluck of Many. Stun it with a heavy attack to deal even more damage. This boss isn’t too hard compared to others, but still keep an eye out for the ice attacks that will freeze you.
