The Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines allow Sun Wukong to upgrade his Gourd, boosting HP recovery. These vines are found in trees all over the world. They can be easy to miss, but thanks to this guide, you can collect them all.
There is a total of fifteen (15) of these Luojia Fragrant Vines to be found altogether. Most chapters often only contain a small few. With chapter 4 having featured the majority.
Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines in Chapter 1
Chapter 1 hides just one vine. Which is located near the shrine in the Marsh of the White Mist
Black Wind Mountain Luojia Vine
- Travel to the Marsh of the White Mist shrine.
- Walk in the opposite direction from the shrine.
- Look for the vine in the bamboo.
Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines in Chapter 2
We have two vines to collect here. One of which is located over at the Windrest Bridge. Whilst the other can be found at the Windseal Gate
Windrest Bridge Vine
- Travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple and defeat the Tiger Vanguard.
- Head to the small settlement.
- The vine is to the right as you exit.
Windseal Gate Vine
Don’t attempt to collect this vine before taking down the Tiger and Stone Vanguard.
- Go back to the area with the King of Flowing Sands and Second Rat Prince.
- Put the Keenness of Tiger and Sterness of Stone in the slot near the stone door. This unlocks the shortcut
- Go through the door down the hill.
- Go over the bridge.
- Walk into the cave with the statue.
- Take down the Gore-Eye Daoist Spirit guarding the vine.
Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines in Chapter 3
Three vines are available in Chapter 3. These can be found in areas such as Outside the Wheel, North Shore of the Bitter Lake and Longevity Road
Outside the Wheel Vine
- Defeat Captain Wise Voice.
- Go in the cave.
- Continue until you reach the area with a body of water in the middle.
- Look on the left side to spot a tree.
- The vine is in the tree branches.
North Shore of the Bitter Lake Vine
- Find the snake bones on the shoreline.
- Climb up the stairs.
- Make a left and enter the alcove.
- Look for the vine in the alcove.
Longevity Road Vine
- Take the Longevity Road shrine.
- Look to the left for a snowy path.
- Advance on the path and take the stairs up.
- Pass through the wooden gate.
- Climb the second stairs.
- Head towards the tree and get ready for an ambush.
- Defeat the Falcon Fanmakers and grab the vine.
Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines in Chapter 4
Sun Wukong finds four vines as he explores Chapter 4. This includes areas such as; Middle Hollow, Temple of the Yellow Flowers, Relief of the Fallen Loong and the Purple Cloud Mountain
Middle Hollow Vine
- Defeat the Scorpion Prince in the Middle Hollow.
- Now, the path to the vine is clear.
Temple of the Yellow Flowers Luojia Fragrant Vine
- Take down the Violet Spider in the Webbed Hollow.
- Go after the spiders and advance uphill.
- Follow the road to the Temple of the Yellow Flowers.
- The vine is in a tree at the start of the path.
Relief of the Fallen Loong Fragrant Vine
- Defeat Buddha’s Right Hand boss.
- Go over the corpse bridge.
- Drop down and make a right.
- Go over the rope bridge.
- Walk past the webs heading towards another rope bridge.
- Enter the forest.
- Spot the vine in a tree on the side of the cliff.
Purple Cloud Mountain Vine
To get this vine, you must first unlock the secret Chapter 4 area.
- Travel to Purple Cloud Mountain shrine.
- Make a right and advance until you encounter the Verdant Glow Spirit.
- Defeat it and take the vine.
Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines in Chapter 5
Two vines can be found in Chapter 5. In areas such as both the Fallen Furnace Crater and Height of Ember
Fallen Furnace Crater Luojia Fragrant Vine
- Travel to the Fallen Furnace Crater shrine.
- Go back down the hill.
- Follow the road on the left and you will eventually bump into the Flint Vanguard.
- Defeat him and his ads and grab the vine.
Height of Ember Vine
- Take the Height of Ember shrine.
- Go forward from the shrine.
- Make a left and advance until you spot a gate on the left side.
- Go through it and follow the road to the right.
- From the ledge, move the camera until you see the stairs.
- Take the stairs and at the end of the road you will find the vine.
