Green-Capped Martialist’s Attack Patterns

How to defeat the Black Myth Wukong boss Green-Capped Martialist

The Green-Capped Martialist has five different attacks, varying from fire attacks to weapon combos. In one of its simpler attacks, the boss will throw its weapon and roll in your direction five times. Dodge as quickly as you can when the boss rolls. In a similar attack, the boss will do this multiple times while on fire.

The boss will also do a combination of attacks with its flaming hoops. It disappears right before doing this combo, so dodge backward to avoid the attack. In a stronger attack, the boss will charge a blast of fire before unleashing it. Dodge when the hoops begin to glow, as this is your sign the blast is about to happen.

In the boss’s last attack, it’ll disappear before swinging its weapon at you. Dodge backwards when it does this.

Strategies to Defeat The Boss

In order to defeat the Martialist, equip the Fireproof Mantle if you got it from the secret boss- Elder Jinchi– in Chapter 1. This will help protect you from a lot of Green-Capped Martialist’s fire attacks. Use spells like Rock Solid to parry the attacks and Immobilize. Freezing the boss before he turns invisible gives you a chance to get a few good hits in. Avoid its fire attacks as much as possible, since those can do the most damage.
