In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Shigandang guide, we’re going over how to defeat this formidable foe in Chapter 2. The Shingandang is a large boss made entirely of stone. It can be found in the Fright Cliff area. Read on to learn about its attack patterns and how to defeat it.
Shigandang’s Attack Patterns

The Shigandang is a large stone-like creature with six different attacks. A good portion of them create shockwaves that do a great deal of damage. This boss is a real brute. He’ll lunge towards you before slamming into the ground, creating an AOE. Dodge or run when you see him do this.
Keeping up with the AOE attacks, he’ll also slam into the ground again and cause rocks to protrude from the ground. He then charges through the rocks, causing them to explode. Your best bet is to get behind the boss and attack him when he does this. In a similar attack, he’ll raise an arm and a leg and slam them into the ground, creating two shockwaves. Dodge the shockwaves. He’ll also stomp the ground, creating another shockwave that can be avoided by dodging the shockwave.
Lastly, the Shigandang will slam the shell that’s on his back into the ground. Run or dodge to the side to avoid this.
How to Defeat Shigandang

The Shigandang has a lot of shockwave attacks that can be difficult to avoid, but you’ll have to memorize his attack pattern and perfect your dodging. Look for cues to know when he is about to perform a certain attack so you know how to react. Utilize immobilize and your spirits to do as much damage as possible.
