Blue Prince - How to Collect Still Water

Blue Prince has several items that are quite useful during gameplay. One of those is the watering can, which can help you collect something called Still Water. With Still Water, you can gain access to some hints!

Finding Still Water in Blue Prince

You will need a Watering Can to collect Still Water

Before you can even think of getting Still Water, you need to complete a few prerequisites.

Have the crown and reclaim the throne room.
After reclaiming the throne room, draft eight consecutive blue print rooms to unseal the blue doors for good.
Solve the coat of arms puzzle.
Finally, the most important one, is having the watering can. The Watering Can is what you use to hold the Still Water! This can be purchased from the commissary or traded at the trading post. It can sometimes be found when you draft certain rooms, however, like the green rooms.

Once you have the Watering Can, consider putting it in a coat check room for storage because it’s then available in future runs.

With the Watering Can in hand, we can, then, go and get the Still Water. Which can be found in the Trading Post but to gain access you need to blow up the dynamite with either the burning glass or a torch.

How and Where to Use Still Water

So you have the Still Water but what the heck are you going to do with it? The first place to go is the Library, assuming it is drafted. There are two books that appear blank on the ground level. However, there is more than meets the eye to this.

The hints are telling you, in their own way, that you need to draft the secret passage as an outer room. To do this, first draft the shrine as an outer room, donating 30 gold. It will give you the blessing of the monk. You can then end your day there, letting you draft the secret passage as an outer room.

Hopefully before you do this you’ve stored the Watering Can in the coat check. Go grab it, use it on one of the books from the outside secret passage, and gain access to another path.
