Blue Prince – How to Solve the Billiard Room Dartboard Puzzle

One of the first puzzles you’ll come across in Blue Prince is in the billiard room. Where we will encounter the Dartboard Puzzle. Yes, whilst it won’t see you playing billiards, you will have to brush up on some of your math skills to ensure you’ll be able to get those great rewards!

Read on to learn how to solve this puzzle! But keep in mind that you need to draft this room first to access it.

Tips For Solving the Dartboard Puzzle

The Billiards Dartboard Puzzle will test your math solving skills

The first thing you may think when you enter the Billiards room is that you’ll be playing billiards, but no! In fact, you’ll be going straight to the dartboard in the back of the room.

In the Nook there is note that will tell you how to go about solving the dart board puzzle. Blue = Addition, Orange = Subtraction, Pink = Multiplication, and Purple – Division. You need to work from the inside out to solve it.

Solving The Dartboard Puzzle

Keep in mind that these examples aren’t the puzzles you will have. They are different with each passing day but it’s to show you how to go about solving the dartboard puzzle. Often, the blue will indicate the base number you start with.

The Dartboard puzzle solving will see numerous different math problems

Here we start with the number 16 so click 16.

This is one plus two, meaning you click on 3. Pretty easy!

Don’t panic. This has an answer! Working from the inside out, you start with 13 and then subtract 12 from it, giving you one.

This features multiplying. 4 is the base number so you times it by 2, giving you eight.

As you progress the Dartboard Puzzle will become more difficult

This is a two stepper. 9 is the base number. Subtract it from 7, giving you 2. Then you times the 2 by 10, giving you 20. Follow this basic premise and you’ll be ready to dust off those old math skills and put them to the test!

There’s also more advanced puzzles, which you will automatically get as you continue to progress. With the bullseye continuing to change, further changing the math puzzle solving method.

  • Square means to take the number of the base color and times it by itself
  • Diamond bullseye is simple. Reverse the numbers.
  • Red X is also simple. Skip the step
  • Red Dots means you have to repeat this step based on how many dots are displayed.
  • Red Slash is to slash your final number in half.
  • Two Squiggly Lines in Bullseye is to round up or down to nearest 1.
  • Four Squiggly Lines in Bullseye wants to round to the nearest 10.
  • Six Squiggly Lines in Bullseye wants you to round to the nearest 100.
  • Colored Section 1/3 full requires you to divide that number by 3.

Rewards

For solving the dartboard puzzle you can get normal keys or special keys. The reward, much like the puzzles you need to solve, are going to be random. But its usually one of the following;

  • The Silver Key
  • Secret Garden Key
  • Eletronic Keycard
  • Normal Keys
