In the Blue Prince puzzle game, there are some rooms where you will be tasked with having to light candles in order to complete a puzzle. But in order to be able to light a candle, you’ll need the correct items!
Read on to learn what items you can use to light candles and where candles actually need to be lit.
Ways to Light Candles in Blue Prince
There are two items you can use to light candles in Blue Prince.
The first item to use to light candles is called the Burning Glass. Now, you can’t just find the burning glass just anywhere. It’s an item that needs to be crafted at the workshop.
What do you need to craft it? Well, all you need are the magnifying glass and the metal detector! Both of which can usually be found laying around. The Closest can sometimes feature these items, once drafted.
The second item you can use to burn candles is called the Torch. This can be found in the Armory once you unlock it. To unlock the Armory, complete the chess puzzle.
From there all you need, then, is to purchase the torch for 8 gold and you have got yourself the torch!
Where to Light Candles
Now that you have the two items to light candles, you’ll be able to go around the manor and interact with the various candles in certain areas. This includes:
- The Chapel – If you interact with the two candles by the alter you’ll get a piggy bank! Break it and you’ll get some money.
- The Freezer – Once you draft the freezer, you can melt ice using your items to reach your resources you can store there.
- The Tomb – Once you have the room, consider lighting the two areas where there are candles. It earns you come goodies!
- The Tunnel – By lighting the torches here you’ll get the tunnel floorplan.
- Underground Roundtable – After this is unlocked by draining the fountain, you can interact with the candles in the area.
