Blue Prince is a game with a lot of different puzzles. Some of these puzzles require you to get items. One item you’ll need is microchips. In this guide, we’ll tell you exactly how to find them.
Location of Microchips in Blue Prince
There are a total of three microchips that can be found in the game for you to use in two different puzzles.
Microchip #1
The first microchip is available after you solve the labroatory puzzle. It’s found in the Blackbridge Gotto. Once this is open, it can be found on the left side of the grounds where the Campstie and Apple Orchard are located.
Approach the pedestal and you’ll find one of the microchips right in it! Click on it but make sure to put it back because that is where it belongs.
Microchip #2
The second microchip can be found in the entrance hall, inside a vase. Take a hammer to it, and you’ll find the microchip inside. If you feel up to it, smash all of them for the hell of it!
Microchip #3
The final microchip can be found next to the west bridge that becomes available after you open the garage door. Make sure you have a shovel otherwise you won’t be able to dig it up.
How to Use the Microchips in Blue Prince and Rewards
Now that you have the other two microchips, return to where you found the first one. Put the other two in the pedestal next to the third. A passageway will open. Walk down it and you’ll find a floor plan for the Throne Room that can be drafted now.
There is also a clue which will give you hints about the scorched sundial in the Apple Orchard so don’t relax just yet. Go on your way to the apple orchard and to the sundial. You need to use something that can light candles or fuses. Apply the scorch marks and proceed to rotate it, this should hopefully reveal indentations and allow you to place the microchips!
The reason you want to do this is because it unlocks a perk called the satellite dish. This allows you to access more emails from SYNKA and staff from the computer terminals. A pack can also be downloaded that adds options for lab experiments.
