Death Stranding 2 Sub Order 101 – How To Recover The Mementos

Death Stranding 2 Sub Order 101 is one of the many available side quests. This time, you have to venture into an area crawling with BTs and retrieve an item. Let’s see what you must do to complete it!

How to Start Death Stranding 2 Sub Order 101

Complete Order 9 and unlock the Sub Order missions. Take the first task, Sub Order 100, and deliver the item to the Lone Commander. Sub Order 101 begins once you finish the delivery for the previous Sub Order.

Your new job is to retrieve a package. Make sure to have some Blood Grenades on you, as you might not be able to avoid all the BTs you encounter. As always, keep an eye on the BT notification.

How to Complete Sub Order 101

The objective location is southwest of the Lone Commander. You can walk in a straight line to reach it. The path is similar to the one you have walked for Sub Order 100. When you run into obstacles, the shortest route to avoid them is to go around from the left.

Use the Ladders to climb over the rocks. This way you won’t stray too far from the route. The BTs are the main concern in this area. You might not be able to avoid them all, but those Blood Grenades will prove useful. BTs are a good source of Chiral Crystals, so kill them if you have the chance. Take advantage of this opportunity to practice your combat skills. You should be able to get to the objective by defeating only two BTs.

Once you reach the objective, use the Climbing Anchor to go down. If you want to save the Anchor, there is a path on the right that allows you to walk down. Take the cargo and retrace your steps to the Lone Commander. Keep following the same path and you will safely get there. The rewards for completing the mission include 225 Likes, Tranq Sniper Rifle schematics, and Smoke Grenade. The Lone Commander will join the Chiral Network. Next up, we have Sub Order 102!
