Death Stranding 2 is one of those games that does give you the ability to fast travel. Fast travelling is something that always come in handy, especially when you forgot something and don’t want to turn all the way back around or just fancy navigating quickly, from one place to another.

Unlocking Fast Travel in Death Stranding 2
You’ll be able to unlock fast travel with Order. 12 but this won’t occur until around 10 hours into the game. Sam is going to be sent to Australia to investigate the tar located in the region. After finishing the mission, the DHV Magellan will serve as an area for fast travel back and forth to the area.
This doesn’t mean you won’t be spending a lot of time travelling back and forth through the game, but the fast travelling can make things a bit easier!
Keep in mind, you can fast travel to only areas you have been too and are safe. Once this criterion is followed, you can use fast travel.
How to Fast Travel
With it now unlocked, all you need to do is figure out how to fast travel. This is actually the easiest part so you’ll be able to get the hang of it quite easily. First open your mat and then put your attention at the right hand corner of the screen. Hold down the X button and the destination menu will appear. Every location Sam can revisit will show up in the interface display.
Being able to return back to areas like this gives players a chance to finish up orders, deliver packages, or find valuable resources. It takes some time to be able to finally unlock fast travel. But once you get there, you’ll be able to take full advantage of it!
