Creating and using Grenades in Death Stranding 2

The first thing you need to make sure you have is the ability to craft grenades. For this you will be required to have some left over Chiral Crystals. Which is a basic crafting ingredient that is used to craft a wide range of different and useful materials. One, of which, of course, is the Grenade.

Once you have the required items needed to craft a grenade, go to a terminal (at a Distribution center for example) and select fabricate equipment in the Fabrication and Management section. Search for the all or weapons tab and then select the grenade to craft it!

How to Equip and Use Grenades

Now that you have the grenade, you need to equip it. There is a grenade pouch you can fabricate and add to your backpack by customizing the backpack in your private room. Mutiple of this item can be created.

If you don’t have this then you can just add it to the backpack, body, or vehicle to store them once they have been crafted. It’s up to you!

With the grenades on your person, you can go ahead and equip them when your out and about by accessing the weapons tap from the item wheel.

Press L2 to choose the path the grenade will follow. Press R2 to release it at your enemies and if you hold it down, it will go further! To make sure you do hit your shot, ensure that you see a red shadow on your enemy. This will ensure the hit connects with the enemy.
