Death Stranding 2 Hot Springs are locations that bestow positive effects on the player. The game has nine springs to discover. Let’s see where you can find them!
Death Stranding 2 Hot Springs Locations
All nine hot springs are in Australia. After visiting the first two and obtaining the Hot Spring Digger, you can tackle the remaining locations in any order. Be sure to return to the Hydrologist after creating a spring to receive Likes and other rewards.
Miracle Spring
How to Find: From the Motherhood, walk left.
Heartman’s Spring
How to Find: You will reach this location after interacting with the Miracle Spring.
Effect: Stamina boost.
Tar Spring
How to Find: From the Tar Therapist, walk south.
Effect: Provides camouflage from BTs.
Healing Spring
How to Find: From the Animal Shelter, walk to the northwest.
Effect: Replenishes stamina.
Chiral Spring
How to Find: Walk along the mountain between The Dowser and Heartman’s Lab.
Effect: Carry weight increase.
Digestive Spring
How to Find: From the Lone Commander, go northeast to find the spring above Tar Lake.
Effect: Drinks and Cryptobiotes have increased effects.
Clairvoyant Spring
How to Find: From the Eastern Environmental Observatory, walk east.
Effect: Increases the visibility of environment items.
Metallic Spring
How to Find: From The Chronobiologist, walk southwest,
Effect: Repairs cargo dropped in water.
Recharging Spring
How to Find: From BPAS, walk north.
Effect: Battery recharge.
How to Unlock Hot Spring Trophies
We have two spring-related trophies:
- Spring into Life: Dig the first hot spring.
- Written in the Stars: Watch the night sky for the first time.
Spring into Life
This trophy is easily unlocked as soon as you create the first hot spring. When arriving at a hot spring location, you need to create it by digging. Sam will gain this ability after discovering the Miracle Spring. The Hydrologist will teach you how to create springs using the Hot Spring Digger.
Written in the Stars
To obtain this trophy, visit a hot spring at night. The sky should be clear. If the conditions are met, Sam will get the option to Look at the Stars. Hold the L1 button to admire constellations and get Likes. You can unlock the trophy at any spring but try the Miracle or Healing Spring first. These areas have fewer clouds. Don’t forget that you can advance time until you get the perfect conditions.
