Where to Find All the Doom the Dark Ages Chapter 4 Collectibles and Secrets
The collectible items and secrets in the Sentinel Barracks chapter are:
- One Toy.
- Two Rubies.
- One Demonic Essence.
- One Codex Entry.
- One Weapon Skin.
- Two Life Sigils.
- 212 Gold.
Doom the Dark Ages Chapter 4 Collectibles and Secrets
Here we can find the Hell Knight toy as well as our first Gold Chest. This particular chapter has a total of 212 Gold.
Toy Hell Knight and Gold
Leave the starting area, clear the next room, and go outside. Take the stairs up and kill the Mancubus. Follow the objective marker inside the building, killing the enemies as you go. Notice the breakable wooden boards on the left. Pick up the Gold and the Hell Knight figurine at the top of the stairs on your way out of this secret room.
Gold Chest 1
Follow the stairs back inside the building, make a right, and then a left. Use the statue to reach the ledge, where you will find more Gold. Drop down and push the box to reveal a climbable wall, leading to a Gold chest.
Gold and Life Sigil 1
Drop down, stand on the pressure plate to activate the elevator, and use the Shield Saw. Jump into the elevator shaft and grab the climbable wall to reach a new area. Collect the Gold and kill the enemies. Follow the marker into the next chamber and clear it. Pull the lever to open the door on the left. Sprint and jump to reach the wall and collect the Gold. Climb the left wall to find more Gold. You can grab the Life Sigil from the next room.
Ruby 1
Drop into the shaft and complete the combat encounter when you emerge into the next room. Go towards the main mission marker and collect the first Ruby from the statue.
Sentinel Barracks Collectibles
Continuing on we can find our second Life Sigil, Ruby and our first Demonic Essence
Gold and Life Sigil 2
Drop down to acquire the Impaler weapon and use it to clear the area. Follow the marker to go outside. Notice the Gold on a cliff to the left of the broken bridge. Jump down and grab the Gold and use the climbable walls to reach a secret area with the second Life Sigil. Break the wall near the Sigil to return outside.
Demonic Essence 1
Jump across the bridge and get rid of the enemies. A Mancubus will spawn. Kill it to receive a Demonic Essence Armor.
Gold and Ruby 2
Jump across the broken bridge and turn around after you land. Look down and notice the ledge. Jump on the ledge, climb the wall, and collect the Gold. Kill all the enemies, climb two more walls, and emerge in an outside area with some Cultist enemies and the second Ruby. There’s a Gold pile nearby, so make sure to grab it.
Gold Chest 2
Return to the bridge and drop down to the left on the cliff below. Climb the wall and take the stairs on the right to go inside the tower, where a Gold Chest is waiting.
Accelerator Weapon Skin Nightmare
Drop down towards the marker and reach the courtyard. Take the stairs up, collect the Gold, and collect the Nightmare Weapon Skin for the Accelerator.
Codex Entry Sentinel Barracks
Jump down towards the marker and reach the courtyard with a statue in the middle. Collect the two Gold piles and head towards the stairs. Make a left at the bottom of the stairs to find more Gold and the Sentinel Barracks Codex at the end of the path.
How to Complete Chapter 4 Sentinel Barracks Mission Challenges
The three Mission Challenges are:
- Rip and Tear: Kill 40 demons.
- Plunderer: Find 150 gold.
- Prize Fighter: Perform a three-hit melee combo three times.
You can complete the Rip and Tear and Prize Fighter challenges as soon as you collect the new weapon, Skullcrusher Pulverizer, and leave the starting area. The next room is full of demons, serving as targets for you to get familiar with the new weapon. You will make progress for the Plunderer challenge as you pick up Gold.
