Where to Find All the Doom the Dark Ages Chapter 1 Collectibles and Secrets
The collectible items and secrets in the Village of Khalim are:
- Two Toys.
- Two Codex Entries.
- One Weapon Skin.
- Three Life Sigils.
Doom the Dark Ages Chapter 1 Collectibles and Secrets
Armed with the Combat Shotgun and Shield, kill the first enemies and complete the Shield Charge tutorial by slaying 15 demons. Next up, you will learn the Wall Scramble mechanic, allowing you to climb walls. Go up the wall and get familiar with another mechanic, Sprint Jump, so you can perform higher and longer jumps. Follow the mission marker and collect the Power Gauntlet, unlocking melee attacks.
Life Sigil 1
Before climbing the wall, smash the wooden bars to discover a secret area and get the Life Sigil. Follow the mission marker to get to an area filled with enemies. Clear it and notice the locked gate. Your next objective is to get the Blue Key.
Blue Key
On your way to the Blue Key, you will learn and practice the Projectile Parry mechanic. The next combat encounter pits you against a mini-boss, serving as a tutorial for Glory Strikes. Defeat the mini-boss and enter the building by climbing the wall to get the Blue Key.
Toy Imp and Life Sigil 2
Return to the locked gate, but don’t open it just yet. Go left to access another secret area to grab the Imp Toy collectible. You can now pass through the locked gate and start the next part of the main mission, Destroy the Demonic Portals. Ignore the locked door for now and kill the enemies to close the portals. Enter the tunnel, where you become trapped until you clear it. Before exiting the tunnel, make sure to collect the second Life Sigil.

Continuing on we will find the Weapon Nightmare Skin for the Combat Shotgun. Along with the toy Soldier
Combat Shotgun Skin Nightmare
After acquiring the Shredder, jump down to find the secret area with the Nightmare skin for the Combat Shotgun.
Toy Soldier
Return to where you found the Shredder and drop down from the cliff’s edge. Follow the path leading to the Toy Soldier collectible. Close the next portal and pick up the Secret Key.
Codex Entry Doom Slayer and Life Sigil 3
Finish the main task by closing the remaining portal, make a right, and climb the wall. Collect the Doom Slayer Codex from the edge. Jump down and follow the marker to reach the area with the locked door, where you started the Destroy the Demonic Portals task. Open the door and collect the third Life Sigil.
Codex Entry Village of Khalim
Resume going towards the marker, clearing the area. Before leaving the arena, climb the right wall to find the Village of Khalim Codex. You can now complete the final objective and end the chapter.
