Hunt the Beast is the main objective during The Beast Within story mission in Dying Light the Beast. Kyle must follow the Beast before the tracks go cold.

How to Hunt the Beast in Dying Light the Beast
The Beast Within story quest is the third main mission. After talking to Jacob in the Town Hall, Kyle must follow the Beast’s traces. The mission happens at night. Use the flashlight with caution, as it can attract enemies.
Track the Beast and Investigate the Explosion
Leave the building and check the corpses. Activate your Survivor Sense and notice the footprints.
Follow the trail of footprints until you reach the edge of the roof. The quest marker points to the building ahead. Drop down, escalate the building, and enter it. Defeat the enemies and use the Survivor Sense to find the exit. As you exit through the window, you will hear an explosion. Your next task is to investigate the explosion site. Follow the quest marker and reach the bridge. Make a left before the bridge and look down to see a truck on fire.
Drop down and kill the zombies.
Enter the truck and investigate the bodies inside. Take the radio and learn that some people are trapped in the church.
Get to the Church and Climb the Tower
Follow the quest marker leading north towards the church. The front door is blocked. Take the stairs in front of the blocked door, leading to the basement entrance. Reach the open area and defeat all the enemies. Move the marked plank and continue up the stairs. Use the ladder and emerge in the main hall. Watch the cutscene and continue pursuing the Beast.
Jump on the wooden platform under the statue. Grab the statue’s ledge and follow it. Jump and grab onto the ledge on the wall, drop down on the ledge below, and grab the ledge above.
Jump over the stained glass and grab the ledge, following it over another stained glass. Continue until you can jump on the balcony. Lower the ladder before proceeding, so you have a quick way up if needed. Now, turn your attention towards the giant chandelier.
Jump to it and then grab the rope. Swing a couple of times and reach the platform.
Climb on the wooden platform and grab onto the ledge in front. Follow it and continue up, using the above ledges, towards the objective marker. Your goal is to get onto the narrow wooden beam. As soon as you reach the beam, you will hear a radio call. Jump towards the window. Reach the roof and the objective will update.
Hunt the Beast in the Tunnel
Follow the objective marker into the cave. The area is linear, so all you need to do is follow the quest marker. Investigate the corpse and open the door. Take the stairs up and continue.
Use the yellow glowing lights as guidance. Activate the Survivor Sense and notice the footprints. Defeat the enemies. Interact with the train car door and follow the footprints, leading to a door. Watch the cutscene, featuring a brief encounter with the Beast. Once the cutscene ends, escape the tunnels and conclude the mission.
