Dying Light The Beast – How to Complete The Killing Streak Quest Series

The Killing Streak is a Dying Light the Beast side quest series. Kyle sets on a mission to track down a murderer.

Dying Light the Beast The Killing Streak Quest Guide

You can start the quest series after you complete The Power Gambit main story quest. Head to the Town Hall and interact with the shopkeeper to trigger the first Killing Streak quest. This quest will actually trigger automatically

Killing Streak First Quest

Doug, the shopkeeper, asks you to track down three missing scouts. Make your way to the marker location north of the Town Hall. Your first task is to defeat the enemies around the well. Once they are all dead, check the corpse resting by the stone stairs.

Read the note and update Doug. Return to the Town Hall to receive a reward and complete the first quest. The next quest will then begin more or less as soon as you leave the building

Killing Streak Volume Two

Head to the church at the marked location northeast of the Town Hall. Enter the building and eliminate the enemies inside. The killer has left another note for you to read.

Read the message and contact Doug. Kyle gets a reward and the quest concludes here. Remember to use the chandelier if you cannot reach the enemy targets

Volume Three

Not long after completing the second quest, Doug will radio call, asking Kyle to investigate another area. Make your way to the marked location south of the Town Hall. The area is crawling with enemies. Take care of them so you can investigate the surroundings unbothered.

Check the military truck for clues: the dead bodies and the writing on the truck. When you turn the body, the explosive under it will detonate. Witness the cutscene. Defeat the enemies and return to the Town Hall. Doug will then share some information with you.

Dying Light the Beast The Killing Streak Volume Four

Travel to the marked location southeast of the Town Hall. Kill the enemies in front of the bookstore. Climb the building to reach the source of the gunfire.

Use the window to go up and enter the upstairs rooms. Drop down through the hole in the floor and make a right after you land. Enter the kitchen and talk to the Wounded Raider. Exhaust all the dialogue options to find out more about what is happening. After he tells you the hiding place, you have the option to kill him. The choice doesn’t affect the outcome, so do as you please. Killing him is an act of mercy. If you decide he deserves punishment, leave him to the zombies. Once you are done, talk to Doug and prepare for the final mission.

The Final Chapter

Go to the marked location at the Municipal Library. Enter through the front door and start investigating the place. Go upstairs and approach the booth to interact with the person inside.

Survive the ambush. Your next task is to deactivate the alarm bells. The longer the ring, the more zombies you will have to deal with, so be fast. Just go for the objectives and don’t waste time killing enemies unless you have to.

The first alarm bell is to the left of the booth.

Go through the open door near the stairs to find the second.

Take the stairs up to reach the third bell. The fourth one is on the wall next to the bookcase.

After the alarm is off, defeat the enemies and return downstairs to the librarian’s booth. A few enemies will jump you as you open the booth door. Investigate the dead body and report to Doug. Return to the Town Hall and talk to Doug to conclude the quest series and receive the reward.
