Dying Light the Beast – The Fast and Fortunate Side Quest

Dying Light The Beast

Dying Light The Beast has many side quests and one of them is the Fast and the Fortunate which is basically racing. Vin Disel or Paul Walker isn’t going to show up for this one. Just zombies.

How to Start the Fast and the Fortunate in Dying Light the Beast

If you want to be able to attempt the side quest that will have you racing in Dying Light the Beast then you need to make sure you have unlocked Efficient Driving and Collision Expert Skills. Once unlocked, go to the Villa area in the Farmlands. There is a crashed truck with zombies surrounding it. Kill them and then you will have to go to a car shop near Nate Market.

Talk to Travis who thinks it’s a great idea to engage in some racing during a time where zombies overrun the world! Practical? No. Fun? Yes. After you talk to him you need to finish the qualifying race. As long as you get bronze you’ll be able to go to the next round.

There are rounds after the qualifying race. Wait for Travis to reach out to you to start the next race.

Finishing the Quest

The Fast and Fortunate is the racing side quest in Dying Light The Beast

Once you finish the third round you can return to Travis to get your grand prize. He will stall a bit but after Kyle pushes a bit, he will give you a blueprint. Now you might be thinking… all that racing for a blue print? Well it’s not just any blueprint. Travis claims the blueprint is for a repair kit. It is guaranteed to fix any vehicle in any condition.

If your driving is anything like mine then this blueprint for the special repair kit is going to come in quite handy.
