Dying Light The Beast has several side quests, including the Cable Guy! No, it has nothing to do with the dark comedy 90s movie with Jim Carrey, but how awesome would that be? The quest itself is one you get after you get the power plant up and running, in Power Gambit

How to Complete the Cable Guy Quest In Dying Light The Beast
The Cable Guy side quest is automatically triggered after completing the main story quest, Power Gambit. Here Pietro will ask Kyle Crane to help restore power to the substation
The first thing you need to do is go to the electrical substation where you’ll have to fight some pesky undead. Hey, it’s a zombie game so it’s expected! There will be quite a few of them so make sure to be on your guard. (This area is marked on the map)
After you’ve killed the zombies in your preferred method, look around and find the electrical pylon. There will have been a zombie standing here. You can go ahead and find your way over there. It will require a bit of a walk and balancing act.
Anyway, as we were saying, there is a cable that can be connected from the pylon to the system that is inside the substation building. This is how you are going to bring the power back on to the area! To get inside the substation you will need to use a lockpick to unlock it. The entrance is on the rooftop. Head inside.
You need to connect the cable to the machine that is on the north wall. The machine itself is right under the roof hatch. Look around for some loot but this completely optional. Never hurts to find as much loot as you can.
And with that you have turned the power back on. It’s a pretty easy quest for the most part and just involves plugging in a few cables. If only the rest of the quests were as easy as this one! Perhaps the most puzzling part is the method of getting to the pylon. I might have took a longer method but it worked overall..
