Wondering how to reach the east side of the Shadow Keep in Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC? Why do we even need to travel there? What is so special about it? Well, for one we will be needing to head there to face the boss, Messmer the Impaler.

One of the many bosses in the Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree is Messmer the Impaler, who will require a bit of a different route in order to reach him. Whilst most bosses will be accessible through a straightforward approach. By the Shadow Keep entrance. The only way to reach Messmer is by heading through the Church District Wing. To the east side of the Shadow Keep
Reaching The East Side Of Shadow Keep Elden Ring
Begin over at the Moorth Ruins, south of the actual Shadow Keep location. These ruins are rather linear and you will want to follow them. Continuing heading deeper into the Moorth Ruins until you come across a ladder leading up.
This ladder will lead you up into the entrance of a Well. Here we will find ourselves at the Bonny Village and a campsite. West of the Downstream River.
Bonny Village Exploration
Whilst exploring the Bonny Village your next destination will be over to the west, where we can find a damaged wooden bridge. Though, the bridge is damaged we can still ride and jump over to the other side, go ahead and do so.
Once you have jumped across to the other side we will then find, yet another, wooden bridge. Thankfully this one is still intact. Cross over it. Continue along the following bridge too and enter a forest area.
Follow the woods and dirt track, ignoring any additional paths. Through and past the rocky wall. It will eventually open up into a much lighter area.
It is a bit of a long trip but, thankfully, for the most part it is also a linear one too. Eventually, by following the path, we will find ourselves at the Shadow Keep, Church District.
