How to Find Bonny Village In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Use the map location above as a starting point to reach Bonny Village, where the “O Mother” gesture is located. From here, ride through the arch that leads to a section of ruined buildings. Behind the largest building is a hole in the ground. Drop down into this hole by using the roofs and rocks sticking out. When you reach the bottom, follow the tunnel. At the end is a ladder, which will lead you to Bonny Village.
“O Mother” Gesture Location
Once inside the village, go past the Lost Grace. Follow the path in the village with the baskets hanging overhead. Avoid enemies with big swords because they will attack you. You’ll come across a broken bridge. Turn right and follow the rocky path. You’ll see a point where the ravine is narrow enough for you to jump across.
Keep left to enter another section of the village. Go around the enemy with the sword on your left and enter the area behind him. Go around the second enemy on your right and also continue on past him. This will take you out of the village. In the distance, on the right, is a glowing blue pillar of light. Head towards it and you’ll find a decapitated body on the ground. Pick up the “O Mother” gesture. It can now be accessed in your list of gestures.
Go to Shadow Keep, Back Gate
Next, you need to perform the “O Mother” gesture at the Shadow Keep, Back Gate. The best way to access this is through the Church District and Storehouse, Back Section.
When you reach the Shadow Keep, take the cave entrance and follow the path. When you get to the top of the incline, go straight and drop down onto the roof of a building. Use the roofs and ruined structures to make your way across and down into the hallways.
You’ll come across a flooded section. Follow the path over the water and you’ll reach a circle on the floor. This is an elevator that will take you up to the Specimen Storehouse. At the top of the elevator, enter the space behind you. Go left and follow the path, where you’ll find a ladder.
There is a library-like room at the top. Keep right and you’ll find a hole in the wall that takes you outside. Follow the wooden stairs up. They’ll take you back inside where you’ll find a little gazebo straight ahead, which is an elevator. Take that up to the wooden beams. Follow the beams and use the ladders to avoid the flying enemies. Keep going until you find an archway that leads back outside. There is another small elevator that will take you down.
Follow the wooden path and you’ll find a stone square section of roof with a lever next to it. This is another elevator that takes you down.
Where to Perform “O Mother” Gesture
At the bottom of the elevator is the Shadow Keep, Back Gate. Take the hallway to the right. You’ll see a glowing light at the end where you can pick up a Scadutree Fragment. At this point, perform the “O Mother” gesture in front of the statue. The statue disappears, turning into a doorway. On the other side is a set of steps that lead down into the bright open world of Scanduview.
