The Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Hornsent Grandam Questline takes you to Belurat Tower. This guide covers how to find Grandam and what steps to take to complete the questline
Find the Storeroom Key In Hornsent Grandam Questline
First, you must collect the Storeroom Key in Belurat in order to open the door to Hornsent Grandam. From the Small Private Altar Lost Grace point, exit the room, take the door on the right, and go up a set of stairs. At the top, take the set of stairs on the left and then make an immediate right. You’ll follow the alley, keeping right, and then turn left when you reach the water. A few steps away is another doorway on your right. Enter there and go up the ladder. There is a decapitated body to the left with the Storeroom Key.
Speak to Grandam
Next, you need to exhaust all dialogue with Grandam. From the Small Private Altar Lost Grace location, exit the room and go left across the bridge. Enter the door at the end on the left using the Storeroom Key. On the right side of the room is a hunched-over figure. Talk to Grandam until you reach the end of the dialogue. The last line is: “These lands were ours since times of old.”
Defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion In Hornsent Grandam Elden Ring
Next, you need to defeat the Divine Best Dancing Lion. Go to the Stagefront Lost Grace point. Approach the double doors and traverse the mist. Once you’ve defeated the Dancing Lion, it will drop a Divine Beast Head for you to pick up. Equip the head.
Once this is done, return to Grandam with the Divine Beast head equipped and talk. From here on, each time you talk to Grandam, make sure you have the Divine Beast head equipped. The last line of dialogue here is: “My song I sing… in service to thee.”
After this, fast travel to another nearby location, like the Small Private Altar point, and then return to Grandam for more dialogue. The last line here will be: “Though, if the flavour doth thy tongue offend, I care not if thou throwest it away.”
Defeat the Base Serpent Messmer
After speaking with Grandam again, defeat the Messmer main boss in the Shadow Keep Storehouse. Go to the Dark Chamber Entrance Grace Point and enter through the double doors to fight the Base Serpent Messmer.
Return to Grandam again for more dialogue. The last line here will be “But wouldst thou permit me a little rest..?”
After this, fast travel somewhere nearby and come back. Grandam drops a Gourmet Scorpion Stew for you to pick up.
