Ghost of Yotei Fox Box Puzzles are collectible items found in the Teshio Ridge region. Finding and decoding all 12 puzzle boxes unlocks Trickster Fox trophy achievement.

How to Find All 12 Ghost of Yotei Fox Box Puzzles

Atsu will find all boxes in a specific order no matter the location. Eight are found in open areas in Teshio Ridge. The remaining four are found in hidden Yotei Six Camps.

Fox Box Puzzles Locations in Ghost of Yotei

Sakuru Woods

Next to a corpse under a shed.

Sentinel Woods

This puzzle box is on the altar.

Shipwreck Shoal

Collect the box from the altar.

Sarobetsu Forest

The box is pinned on the altar.

Teshio Coast

Just like the previous Fox Boxes, this one is also found on an altar.

Crossroads Trading Post

The box is on the ground in front of the Altar of Reflection.

Deserted Village

Find the box in front of the Deserted Village altar.

Soya Port

Clear the camp to save Hachiro and collect the box in front of the altar.

Hideout Locations

As said, we can find 4 Fox Puzzle Boxes in various shrines and hideouts. Some of these locations also have their own puzzles before finding the box. One of which is also story related to the Kitsune

Snow Drift Springs Shrine

To enter the hideout, you need to light the three fox braziers.

Clear the hideout and interact with the Settler. Head up the ladder to find another brazier puzzle.

The way to the puzzle box in front of the shrine is now open.

Snow’s Blight Shrine

Clear out the camp and rescue the Settler. Take a torch and light the braziers that have a lit lantern above them. Turn the fox statues in the direction the fox above is pointing. Pick up the fox statues and place them on the pedestals in front of the door. Enter the crawlspace to the right of the door. This is also how you reach the location of the Nameless Killer bounty target. Clear the hideout and find the box in front of the altar.

Nakajima Ice Cave

Turn the right fox statue to the right and the left fox statue to the left. Enter the hideout and reach the fox statue. Turn it to face the lit lantern and use the cables to get to the other side. Interact with another fox statue to activate the ladder. Make your way up, exit the cave, and clear the camp. Turn the two fox statues so they face one another. Go to the altar and pick up the puzzle box.

Cape Inari Shrine

Squeeze through the gap near the blue symbol and light the fox brazier inside. Go back outside and find another narrow space you can squeeze through – there’s a lit brazier in front of it – where you can light another fox brazier. You can now enter the hideout. Light the fox brazier outside and then the one inside. Use the cable to cross to the other side, towards the blue symbol. Liberate the hideout and reach the broken bridge. Light the fox brazier next to the broken bridge and use the cable to get to the other side. Defeat the enemies and light the fox lantern next to the broken bridge to create a cable path toward the altar where you will find the puzzle box.
