Ghost of Yotei Altars Of Reflection – Moments Of Reflection Locations

Ghost of Yotei has Altars of Reflections that you can pray at to get some additional skill points, making them pretty useful. If you find all 30 of them then you’ll get the Moments of Reflection Trophy Achievement. There is a lot more of them than necessary. A total of 61 altogether. However, finding and getting them all does increase and, eventually, max out your character skills and stats..

List of Altars of Reflection in Ghost of Yotei

Many of the altars in Ghost of Yotei are found in open world with 22 to them being found by conquering the enemy camps in the game. We first learn about them during the Lost In Reflection side quest. Which is automatically unlocked during the main story

Altar Of Reflection Locations In Yotei Grasslands

There is a total of 12 Altar Of Reflection shrines to pray to over in the Yotei Grasslands. Some of which are by the Southern Coast, others in compounds..

1. Altars Of Reflection – Southern Coast

Simply go through the bamboo and down the cliff.

2. Altar Of Reflection – Saito Compound

You can find this one after completing the Saito compound enemy camp.

3. Altars Of Reflection – Lake Kuttara

This one is behind a waterfall. Go through it and you’ll find the alter.

4. Altar Of Reflection – Lost Monk’s Camp

This is east of Old Inn, talk to the man at Lost Monk’s Camp and follow him to the altar. The bamboo only clears while he’s with you.

5. Altars Of Reflection – Yotei’s Shadow Inn

Simply walk further down the hill.

6. Serpent’s Pass

Go inside the cave and then climb up the rocks.

7. Saito Recruitment Camp

Go and complete the Saito Recruitment camp.

8. Sarubetsu River – Altars Of Reflection

This one is in a cave. All you have to do is climb down!

9. Jade Grove – Altars Of Reflection

It’ll be in a field of blue flowers. North of Jade Grove

10. Yotei River

Go and cut through the bamboo before going forward. East of Master Heijiro’s Garden

11. Stone Spire Hideout

At Stone Spire Hideout, climb the nearby hill with a note pinned to a tree warning not to wake the bear. Play your Shamisen there to trigger a cutscene and then someone appears and lowers the ladder, letting you climb up.

12. Outcrop Homestead

Complete the Outcrop Homestead enemy camp. South east of Lake Jozan

List Of Altar Of Reflections In Ishikari Plains

We can find a total of 13 Altars Of Reflection in Ishikari Plains. Some over in the Nishin Fishery others near Otaru Beach

13. Nishin Fishery – Altars Of Reflection

Complete the Nishin Fishery enemy camp.

14. Otaru Beach – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

At the cliff, climb down the tree stump.

15. Otaru Beach – Ghost Of Yotei Alters Of Reflection

Just climb up some rocks to reach this one!

16. Broken Horn Garrison – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

Complete the Broken Horn Garrison enemy camp.

17. Ishikari Fork

West of Ishikari Fork. Simply climb the rocks to the top!

18. Bold Kaji Forge

Complete the Bold Kaji Forge enemy camp.

19. Horokanai Bluffs

This one can be found north of Horokanai Bluffs. All you need to do is follow the path which requires swinging across the gap.

20. Masked Man’s Quarry

Complete Masked Man’s Quarry enemy camp.

21. Yokai’s Nest

North of Jigoku Fortress, use the grapple point and follow the cliffs to reach the altar at the end.

22. Rumoi River

Go east of Rumoi River, towards the spot where you can swing to the altar. Swing across to reach the altar.

23. Sensei Takahashi’s Dojo

This is in front of Sensei’s Takahashi’s Dojo.

24. Higashi Lumberyard

Complete Higashi Lumberyard enemy camp.

25. Urara Forest

This is behind a blocked path so go to the left and climb.

Altars Of Reflection Locations In Tokachi Range – Ghost Of Yotei

A further 7 Altars Of Reflection can be spotted over at the Tokachi Range. Including in areas such as; Ishiusu Basin and Yubari Lake

26. Ishiusu Basin – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

West of Ishiusu Basin. Just cut the bamboo and go through the gap but be warned you’ll encounter a bear!

27. Yubari Lake – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

This one isn’t hidden anywhere so it’s pretty easy to spot! Just walk up to it. West of Yubari Lake

28. Huranui Mill – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

Complete Huranui Mill enemy camp.

29. Tomamu Marshlands

Go into the gap and then climb up.

30. Marshland Homestead

Complete the Marshland Homestead enemy camp.

31. Saru Plains

This isn’t behind anything or hidden so just walk up to it. South of Saru Plains

32. Saru Plains

Go through the gap and into the cave. There will be another gap you need to go through.

All Altars Of Reflection In Nayoro Wilds – Ghost Of Yotei

A further 3 Altars Of Reflection can be spotted and interacted with over in the Nayoro Wilds.

33. Nayoro Falls – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

Climb up a hill to get to this altar. South of Nayoro Falls

34. Iwor Woods – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

Use the grappling hook to climb up the cliff. West of Iwor Woods

35. KanKan Creek – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

This will be near a waterfall.

Altars Of Reflection Locations In Teshio Ridge

There is quite a few Altar Of Reflection locations within Teshio Ridge. A grand total of 17 altogether to keep you busy!

36. Teshio River

Look for a tree with leaves on the mountain.

37. Crossroads Trading Post

Complete the Trading Post enemy camp.

38. Closed-Off Building

This one is in a building. You need to take a torch from the right before lighting the two lanterns on the left.

39. Snow Drift Springs Hideout

The Snow Drift Springs Hideout is hidden behind the Snow Drift Springs Shrine in Crimson Forest. To open the door, light the correct foxes with a torch: leftmost on the left, rightmost on the right, and the middle one across the door. Defeat enemies. After the cutscene, there will be another puzzle. Light the leftmost and the second from the right fox. Then climb up the rope!

40. Teshio Coast

This one will be found a tree. It’s impossible to miss.

41. Closed-Off Building

Face the building and then turn to the right. If you walk towards one of the nearby lanterns, you’ll collapse through some ice. Pull the lever before climbing back up. Go to the building and take the statue on the right before putting it on the left side.

42. Snow’s Blight Hideout

At Snow Blight’s hideout, go towards the shrine on top of the cliff. Climb up the rocks at the left, jumping over the gap. Climb up the rocks and then jump over the large gap to the shrine.

43. Sarobetsu Forest

Walk ahead towards the rock formation. You’ll fall through some ice to find the altar.

44. Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout

At Nakajima Cave Hideout, go towards the two fox states on the edge of a cliff. The one on the left needs to be turned towards the right while the one on the right needs to be turned so it’s facing the other one. Cross the rope, before climbing the rocks. Keep following the path until you find the altar.

45. Deserted Village

Complete the Deserted Village enemy camp.

46. Shipwreck Shoal

You’ll need to climb a rock wall to reach it. West of Shipwreck Shoal

47. Soya Port

Complete the Soya Port enemy camp.

48. Sarufutsu River

This can be found after you complete the Cape Inari hideout. At the locked gate, light two fox lanterns with trident icons to open it.

Go through the right gap to grab a torch and light the fox inside, then through the left gap to light the second. Crawl under the door that opens, then light two more trident foxes (one by the cliff, one inside the building). Cross the new rope, climb up to the enemy camp, and clear it. Light the fox near the broken bridge to drop another rope, then cross, light the final fox at the cliff, and reach the altar.

49. Shipwreck Shoal

The goal is to get across the gap where the house is located. Go to the fox on the left and turn it so it is facing the one on the right. Then go to the fox on the right and turn it around three times so it’s facing the other one you just turned. A rope will appear so go across to find two more fox statues. Turn the one on the left three times so it’s tail is facing the one on the right. The one on the right needs to just be turned twice. Go to the house, the door should open.

50. Shipwreck Shoal

Go down the cliffs.

51. Sanctuary Grove

Enter Sanctuary Grove from Sarufutsu Lighthouse, follow the path to the fox lady, then exit right and use the fox statue to drop a ladder upstairs.

52. Closed-Off Building

In the bamboo forest, turn left from the locked door, take the next left, and cut through the bamboo to find a fox statue. Place it on the pedestal by the door, then enter to reach the altar.

Oshima Coast Altars Of Reflection Locations In Ghost Of Yotei

Another 9 Altars can be found over in Oshima Coast. One over in the Miyama Village. Others in Tokuyama Hills

53. Miyama Village – Ghost Of Yotei Altars Of Reflection

Complete Miyama Village enemy camp.

54. Tokuyama Hills – Altars Of Reflection

Swim to a small island to find this one.

55. Saito Artillery Outpost – Altars Of Reflection

Complete the Saito Artillery Camp enemy camp.

56. Matsumae Castle

This will be on the outside of Matsumae Castle. Go inside the open temple.

57. Kasuga Village

Complete Kasuage Village enemy camp.

58. Iwasaki Farmstead

Complete Iwasaki Farmstead enemy camp.

59. Osio Fishing Village

Complete Osio Fishing Village enemy camp.

60. Suki River

Climb the rocks to reach this altar.

61. Mount Yotei

Go to the middle of the crater on top of the mountain but to get there you need to go up the shrine climb to reach this peak. Then slide down into the crater.
