The Ghost of Yotei vanity gear lets you customize your weapons and armor through the use of dyes and weapon kits. They are purely cosmetic but sometimes you want to change your look!

Two of the main types of vanity gear that let’s you change the appearance of the armor and weapon itself are dyes and weapon kits. Are they necessary? No but Vanity Gear in Ghost of Yotei does help your armor and weapons pop!

Ghost Of Yotei Vanity Gear – Dyes

To equip the dye, go to your armor custimzation in the gear menu and choose a dye! Many of the dyes are purchased from merchants but some require you to finish quests.

Sword Kits

To equip a sword kit, go to the gear menu and select your menu. Then you can go customize it with whatever kit you have on hand! Many sword kits are found from Pillars of Honor, completing quests, or purchasing from merchants.

Tiger’s Fang	Reward for killing Lord Saito at the end of the game.
Toyotaro’s Fang	Get this from the bounty for Houndmaster Toyotaro after killing him in Teshio Ridge.
