LEGO Horizon Adventures Gold Bricks are collectible tokens which are essentially used for upgrades. They are often found throughout the game and there can be many of them! Let’s see how you acquire and use them!
How to Earn LEGO Horizon Adventures Gold Bricks
There are two ways in which to acquire them, these include:
- Completing main story missions.
- Completing various Community Jobs.
LEGO Horizon Adventures Gold Bricks From Story Quests
This is the primary method. Each time you complete a story quest, you get a Gold Brick as a reward. So, all you need to do is to follow the story campaign. The game lets you know when it is time to collect the reward. There is no way you can miss them at the end of a quest.

LEGO Horizon Adventures Gold Bricks From Community Jobs
After you complete the Face of the Sun story quest, you gain access to Community Jobs. These jobs represent a multitude of challenges. From defeating a certain number of enemies to decorating the village, all sorts of tasks are available. The Community Board in the village lists all current Jobs, so make sure to check it frequently. You unlock more jobs as you progress through the story. For example, the first Community Job tasks you with building a Feasting Table and enjoying a meal. Later, you will have access to more complex jobs, such as completing adventures while wearing specific outfits. The number of Gold Bricks received as a reward varies from job to job. These are basically the side quests that players can undertake within the game

Character Development and Village Upgrades
These story and job rewards work as currency for upgrades. Your progress depends on them. The character development is based on these tokens.
Here are some of the perks they unlock:
- Environmental Warrior: Bonus XP when defeating creatures using the environment.
- Zero Waste: You can use gadgets and rare weapons more times.
- Barrels of Peril: Extra damage from barrels.
Village upgrades and customization also depend on the number of collected bricks. You will unlock more village plots and customization options as you acquire more of these rewards.
Trophies and Achievements
The game has two brick-related trophies and achievements.

There’s Gold in Them Bricks: Get your first Yellow Brick. You will unlock this trophy as soon as you complete the first story quest.

Yellow Brick Hoard : Obtain 50 bricks. Simply follow the story and complete Community Jobs for this easy trophy.
Of course, several other achievements rest on bricks. For example, the Masterbuilder trophy requires you to have 20 Roofs or Yards. To be able to buy these, you need access to a station unlocked when you have a certain number of bricks.
