Man of Bronze is a Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii substory. It involves a scene over at the Market Village and a fire-breathing show. Let’s see what you must do to recruit a new crew member, Bronson!
How to Start the Man of Bronze Substory
Make your way to the Worldwide Market Village and approach the crowd. Trigger the cutscene and watch the fire-breathing show. One guy praises the performer and complains that he has wasted time watching a human statue show nearby.
The substory automatically begins after the cutscene. Majima decides to see the living statue.
How to Complete the Man of Bronze
The living statue is southeast of the Worldwide Market Village. You will find the NPC at the intersection of Aloha Street and Resort Boulevard.
Tip the Performer
Majima is impressed with the artist, so he gives a tip.
You can choose $1 or $100. Some passersby commend your generosity, however, the kids aren’t impressed at all. A bunch of children start kicking the living statue, but the man doesn’t break character. Majima gives them a scolding and they are off to see the fire-breathing show.
Meet the Performer
Make your way to the Honu West Market and enter the men’s restroom. There’s a guy in there and Majima recognizes him as the statue performer. The Bronze Man thanks Majima for the tip and gives him an HP drink as a reward. If you didn’t tip him, you won’t receive any item.
The two begin talking and Majima suggests a more comfortable place, so they head outside and sit on a bench. He introduces himself as Bronson and shares his life story. It turns out that the fire-breathing guy, Clyde, was also a living statue performer, but he gave it up for a more flamboyant trade.
The Show on Ayame Street
Go back to Bronson’s performance location and watch as Clyde and his buddies are picking on him. They want to test his commitment in a horrible way.
Majima cuts in and a fight begins. You will fight against four enemies. Defeat them and Bronson will thank you. He decides to join the show on Ayame Street, where Clyde is performing as well. It seems like Clyde cannot control his act and a nearby house catches fire. A boy is trapped inside.
Bronson steps in and saves the kid. Watch the final cutscene and complete the substory. As a reward, you unlock Bronson as a crew member.
