The brand new Beat’em Up game Marvel Cosmic Invasion is out with many different features, which include online play. There are fifteen different characters to choose from so even if someone grabs your favorite, pick your close second. Or your third… or fourth but you get the picture.

How to Use Online Play in Marvel Cosmic Invasion – Multiplayer CoOp Mode
Once you start up the game you’ll see that there is a mode called Party Up on the main menu. It is on the bottom of the screen. From there, all you have to do is make sure you are connected to the internet.
You are one step closer to playing with others. Either join others in a game or you can have others play with you instead. It just depends on your particular preference.
Local Play
Online play is not the only mode in the game. There is also local multiplayer, but it works a bit different than online multiplayer.
If you are playing local multiplayer, you just go to campaign or arcade mode. Just make sure that the other controllers are signed in otherwise you will not be able to play.
A total of four players can play in local play which will play out in a split screen situation. Again, this is done through campaign or arcade mode so stay away from Party Up mode if you are looking to do local play.
Players do not just get to choose one character. Each player can actually pick two characters, so you won’t be stuck with just one for the whole game. This gives you an opportunity to fight with someone else!
