These five Clash of Dancing Lions tips will help you understand this new Marvel Rivals mode and improve the winning odds. The mode is part of the Fortune & Colors event. Let’s see what you can do to win more matches!
Marvel Rivals – Clash of Dancing Lions Tips and Tricks
Clash of Dancing Lions is a time-limited 3 vs 3 soccer-themed mode. Only three heroes with modified abilities are available in this mode. These characters are restricted to Iron Fist, Black Widow and Star Lord. To win a game, you must score 10 points or have more points than the other team at the end of the four-minute match.
You Need to Go With the Ball Into the Goal Net to Score Points

Putting the ball into the opponent’s goal is how you score points to win the match. Each goal is color coded depending on what team you are in. For example your opponent’s goal net will be in blue. Whilst the other, orange. So focus on netting the ball into the blue colored net.
Another important thing the game doesn’t tell you is that you actually need to hold the ball whilst going into the net to get the points. Kicking, throwing, or sending the ball into the net doesn’t count. Your hero needs to have the ball and go through the goal with it to score points.
You also get points based on where you place the ball. One point for scoring from the sides. Three points for scoring from the middle.
Don’t Idle When You Have the Ball

You gained possession of the ball. Great! Don’t stop moving. Keep the ball rolling at all times. This means passing it to a teammate or going with it towards the opponent’s net in an attempt to score points. If you just keep the ball and do nothing you will become a sitting duck and attract the opponents’ attention. Keeping the ball moving makes it harder for the enemy team to intercept it. Passing the ball from one teammate to another, if you are in no position to score, is better than just keeping the ball.
You can pass the ball using both the L2 and R2 buttons on the controller. As shown on the bottom left of the screen, when you are in possession of the actual ball. It is R2 for a short pass and L2 for a long range pass.
Pick a Goalkeeper

There is no designated goalkeeper role in Clash of Dancing Lions, but having one player guarding the net is not a bad idea. If the enemy is rushing towards your net with the ball and your team is focused on offense, no one can prevent them from scoring. Have a teammate close to the net or fulfill this role yourself!
Pick Star-Lord for Easy Clash of Dancing Lions Wins

Star-Lord is the easiest hero to play in this mode. His Celestial Leap ability makes him Unstoppable and Invincible while dodging. Thanks to the Rocket Propulsion ability, he can benefit from a Momentum Boost and gain impressive speed while sprinting. The Lion Leap ability is amazing for regaining the ball. Combine these abilities and you will easily get the ball and score points.
Whilst in the air Star Lord cannot be tackled by anyone other than another Peter Quill, who can take him on whilst in the air. Neither Iron Fist or Black Widow can fly. Giving you more of an advantage to either score or get it close to your objective. However, flying is only temporary and limited. You will eventually, be forced to come back to the ground again.
Learn How to Stall the Game

If your team is leading and the timer is approaching the four-minute limit, stalling the game is a safe way to secure the victory. Maintain possession of the ball and kick it from one teammate to another until the time runs out. Don’t attempt scoring, as you might lose the ball and give the enemy a chance to turn the odds.
