The Octopath Traveler 0 Battle Tested Equipment is a collection that includes some of the best weapons. Finding all nine battle-tested items unlocks the Battle-Tested Gear trophy achievement.

How to All Obtain All Octopath Traveler 0 Battle Tested Equipment
The Battle-Tested Gear collection includes eight weapons and a shield.
How to Get the Battle Tested Weapons
To collect all Octopath Traveler 0 Battle Tested weapons, you need to find the NPCs that have these items and win them in battle. Use the Inquire action first, followed by the Contend path action. Keep in mind that all Contend path actions for these weapons are level 60.
Battle-Worn Tome
Enter Theatropolis and use the Contend path action on the Master of Books NPC to collect the Battle-Worn Tome.
Battle-Tested Axe
Find the Great Architect on the Main Boulevard in Valore and use the Contend path action to get the Battle-Tested Axe.
Battle-Tested Bow
Travel to Emberglow, reach the East District and use the Contend path action on the Tottering Old Man to collect his Battle-Tested Bow.
Battle-Tested Dagger
The Powerful Pauper in the Cragspear Slums has the Battle-Tested Dagger, but they will hand it over should you defeat them in battle first
Battle-Tested Staff
Go to the Clearbrook Graveyard to find the Reflective Grandma and win the Battle-Tested Staff.
Battle-Tested Spear
Go to Rippletide and check the house on the eastern side to find the Energetic Old Woman, who’s willing to part with the Battle-Tested Spear.
Battle-Tested Fan
To obtain the Battle-Tested Fan, you must travel to Sunshade and Contend with the Sandcat Dancer. You will find the NPC in the northwestern side of the town.
Battle-Tested Blade
Make your way to the Shepherds Rock and go to Castle Square to encounter the Former Warrior, who has the Battle-Tested Blade.
How to Get the Battle-Tested Shield in Octopath Traveler 0
The Octopath Traveler 0 Battle-Tested Shield is on the List of Backdoor Trade Goods in the Wishvale shop. In order to gain access to this list, you need a resident with the Backdoor Trade skill at the Wishvale shop.
There are three NPCs with the Backdoor Trade skill in Octopath Traveler 0. These include the Black Market Merchant, Grumpy Old Woman and the Desert Labor Supervisor
Harbor Black Market Merchant
The Harbor Black Market Merchant is at the Grandport Bazaar. You need Bouillabaisse to invite them to Wishvale.
Grumpy Old Woman
The Grumpy Old Woman lives in a house in the center of Berecain. To unlock them as a resident, you must start the Bestower of Fame Chapter 3 main story quest and have a Bean Salad dish.
Desert Labor Supervisor
The Desert Labor Supervisor is in the southeastern part of Sufrataljah. You need Sausage Stew to invite them.
Once any of these three NPCs is stationed at the Wishvale shop, you can buy Backdoor Trade Goods. However, the item selection is random, so you might not be able to get the Battle-Tested Shield right away.
If the shield is not available, take part in seven fights to reset the trade stock. You will get a notification when new items are available at the shop, so return to Wishvale and check the Backdoor Trade Goods list until you get the last Octopath Traveler 0 Battle Tested Equipment.
