The Octopath Traveler 0 Strange House is a mysterious building you can place in Wishvale. The Strange House grants access to the Tavern of Nil, a post-game location.

How to Unravel the Octopath Traveler 0 Strange House Mystery
You might have noticed the Strange House in the Wishvale Construction menu. However, you must wait until you are in the final game stage to build and use this puzzling structure.
Step 1: Reach Agapea and Obtain the Strange Key
Progress into the late game and unlock The Hidden Isle side story, which allows you to travel to Agapea. You also need to have the Animal Whisperer ability unlocked and be on Chapter 7 of the Kindlers of the Flame quest.
Find the Meowstesis of the Pawbeans NPC on Agapea and interact with them. Use the Entreat path action to receive a Kitty Cape and, most importantly, the Strange Key. If you have Fresh Yogurt, you can invite Meowstesis of the Pawbeans to join Wishvale as a resident. With the Strange Key in your possession, return to Wishvale. Access the Construction menu and notice that you can build the Strange House.
Step 2: Invite Isla to Move Into the Octopath Traveler 0 Strange House
The next step in unlocking the Octopath Traveler 0 Strange House mystery is to collect all the Letter Fragments and go to the Isle of Sages to recruit Isla. Return to Wishvale and witness the conversation between Isla and Stia. Feel free to select any conversation options during the interaction. The outcome is the same no matter how you choose to respond. Isla moves into the Strange House.
Step 3: Enter the Tavern of Nil and Unlock Post-Game Content
Continue with the main quest and witness both Octopath Traveler 0 endings. Thanks to a special save point location, you can achieve both endings in the same playthrough. Use this feature to go back in time and go to the Skies of Vanity in the final dungeon. Reach the Cove of Clouds and defeat the boss to obtain the Heavenly Jewel. Return to Wishvale, put the Heavenly Jewel in the Strange House, and witness the cutscene. You can now enter the Tavern of Nil, where you will find the Intense Battle Music Score I, the item you are most likely missing for the Music Aficionado trophy.
