Silent Hill 2 Remake Otherworld Brookhaven Hospital is the next area after the encounter with Flesh Lip. While you are still in the same place, you will explore new areas. Notice that the map now tracks your movement.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Otherworld Brookhaven Hospital – Second Floor

James finds himself on the first floor of Otherworld Brookhaven Hospital. There is not much to explore here. Your objective is to get to the second floor. Start heading towards the elevator collecting the handgun ammo and an HP syringe on the way. A save point is also on the first floor. Enter the elevator and press the second-floor button. You arrive at the lobby where you notice a box protected by several chains. The main goal of this chapter is to open this box.

To unlock the chained box, you will need the combination lock code, the keypad code, and the box key.

Where to Find the Combination Lock Code

Head south of the chained box. Go through the restroom and continue to room L1. Grab the handgun ammo and the HP drink and make a left to enter room M1. Collect the shotgun shells and notice the clock on the wall. You can set whatever time you want on this clock. Set it to 2 o’clock and watch out for a trio of Bubble Head Nurses attacking you. Defeat them and make your way to room M2. Pick up the handgun ammo from room M3. Break the wall and find the diary that contains the hint for the combination lock code. Figure out the code 1622.

How to Obtain the Keypad Code

Proceed to room L3. Enter it through the open window and loot the handgun and shotgun ammo. Continue to the Observation Room where you will find a Strange Photo collectible, the Patient’s Note, and the Director’s Office key. On your way to the Director’s Office, grab the HP drink from the restroom and the handgun ammo from room C2.

Enter the Office using the key. Get the HP drink and the shotgun ammo. Use the ladder and advance to the third floor. You need to activate the electric stretcher. Go north of the restroom to find the generator. Activate it to power up the stretcher. Go back to the stretcher and obtain the keypad code 9659.

Where to Find the Box Key

With the combination lock code and the keypad code, you will remove the chains from the box. The next step is to find the Lapis Eye key. Use the stairs in the northern-western part of the second floor to go to the third floor. Make your way to Exam Room 4 and notice the mannequin. Use the Instrument of Force nearby to detach one arm from the mannequin. Go to room D3 and descend to the first floor using the ladder. Collect all the consumables on your way to the restroom where you will find the Key of Bliss. Go back to the mannequin and use the Key of Bliss on it to obtain the Lapis Eye key.

You can now open the box. There is nothing in it but look behind you. Retrieve the basement elevator button from the woman statue and notice the ring slots on her arms. That’s where you need to go in search of the two rings.

How to Find the Two Rings and Exit the Hospital

Take the elevator to the basement. The elevator quiz will reward you with a couple of items. Once you are in the basement, make your way to the Pump Room retrieving all the consumables on the way. The Copper Ring is in the Pump Room.

Take the stairs up and reach the first floor. Make your way to the Doctor’s Lounge where you will find the Lead Ring. Go back to the second floor and place the Copper Ring on the statue’s upper hand and the Lead Ring on the lower hand.

A passageway will open. Enter it and Pyramid Head will make another appearance. It will run after you until you reach the elevator. Exit the elevator and collect the Hospital Entrance key from the Reception Office. You can now leave the hospital.
