Silent Hill 2 Remake Toluca Prison is the next main area after Otherworld Brookhaven Hospital. James reaches the prison by climbing down the stairs in the Historical Society.
Silent Hill 2 Remake Toluca Prison – The Entrance Area
Go through the hallway as you enter the prison and notice the huge hole. Jump in and you will reach a small area that seemingly has no exit. Notice that you can break through the bricks in the wall. Smash all three sections and continue through the water area after you defeat the Lying Figure. Go straight and reach the platform. Make a right and enter the room. Defeat the Creepers. Notice the numbers 2, 3, and 9 on the padlock. The code is a random combination of these three digits. Open the gate and go down to reach the cafeteria.
Find Eddie in this room and talk to him. Grab the handgun ammo and the HP drink. The stone tablet on the table has a Glimpse of the Past. The next area is the armory. You will find ammo, a map, and a save point in this room. Make your way to the chapel and get the weight from the stand and the syringe from the office. Search rooms B1, B3, A3, A8, and A9 for ammo and collectibles.
The Yard
Go to the yard and find the statue. Uncover it and notice the scales. Put the chapel weight on the right and the weight you’ve found here on the left. You can now go through the Headless Serpent Door into the Guard Room. Clear the area of items and enemies. When you are done, continue to the Witness Room.
How to Solve the Generator Puzzle
To solve the Witness Room puzzle, you need to flip all the switches in a certain order.
Here is the correct order:
- Easy difficulty: 4, 5, 2, 1, 3.
- Normal difficulty: 6, 4, 5, 1, 3, 2.
- Hard difficulty: 4, 5, 2, 1, 3, 6, 7.
Go into the Execution Room and retrieve the red weight. Make your way to the E block fighting the two Mannequin Spiders and the two Lying Figures. Search the E cells for shotgun shells, handgun ammo, and HP drinks. Break the wall in E1 to reach E19. Collect all the items from E18, E16, E11, E13, and E17. Go to E10 and enter the adjacent Guard Room through the hole. Grab the ammo and the key to the armory. Go to the armory and pick up the Hunter’s Rifle.
Silent Hill 2 Remake Toluca Prison – How to Open the Three Doors
Hornless Ox Door
Go back to the statue in the yard and put the red weight on the right and the other two weights on the left. Enter the Hornless Ox Door and arrive on the second floor of Toluca Prison. Find the Cell Block D Key in the Guard Room. Search C6, D6, and D3 for ammo. Collect the Shiv Key from room D5. Return to the C Block and open C4 with the Shiv Key. Clear the washroom and head for the showers where you will find another weight in the wall. Once you are done with the enemies, enter the washroom door that is no longer blocked.
Eyeless Boar Door
Return to the statue and put the smallest weight on the left and all the other weights on the right. Enter the Eyeless Boar Boor and notice the broken window. Go through it and collect all the useful items. The men’s washroom has a save point. Search all the rooms in this area and grab the Upper Floor key that unlocks the staircase. Go up until you get to the Warden’s Office. Write “SICK” on the typewriter to open the drawer and collect another weight.
Wingless Dove Door in Silent Hill 2 Remake Toluca Prison
Take another trip to the statue in the yard. Put the red weight on the right and all the others on the left. Enter the basement through the Wingless Dove door. Collect the items from F2, F12, and F14. Use the hole in F15 to go to the Guard Room. Unlock F5 and F6 by flipping the switches. The lightest weight is in F6. Enter F10 through F9 and use the ladder to go to the first floor.
Interact with the statue in the yard one last time. Place the red weight and the chapel weight on the right and all the other weights on the left to obtain the Execution Lever. Put the lever on the gallows and solve the puzzle to advance to the next area, the Labyrinth.
