There are 32 debuffs in Slay the Spire 2, such as Vulnerable, Weak, Frail, Confused, Crush Under, Dark Shackles, Demise, Hang and more.. Many of which forces both enemies and the player character with 50% or more damage inflicted. Double damage, negative block and even lost dexterity..
Here’s what they do.
List Of STS 2 Debuff Cards And Abilities
| Debuff | Effect |
|---|---|
| Vulnerable | Affected players or enemies receive 50% more damage from attacks. |
| Weak | Affected players or enemies’ attacks deal 25% less damage |
| Frail | Affected players or enemies gain 25% less block from cards (relics, and potions are excluded) |
| Biased Cognition (Defect) | Defect loses X Focus at the start of his turn |
| Confused | Costs of cards are randomized from 0 to 3. This debuff comes from the Snecko Eye relic. |
| Conqueror (Regent) | Sovereign Blade deals double damage |
| Crush Under | Affected enemies lose X strength |
| Dark Shackles | Affected enemies lose X strength |
| Debilitate | Makes Vulnerable and Weak twice as effective. |
| Demise | Enemies affected lose X HP at the end of turn. Currently, Powdered Demise is the only source of this debuff, and this makes an enemy lose 9 HP per turn. |
| Doom (Necrobinder) | At the end of the turn, players or enemies with HP equal to or lower than Doom will die. |
| Dying Star (Regent) | Affected enemies lose X strength |
| Enfeebling Touch (Necrobinder) | Affected enemies lose X strength |
| Flanking (Silent) | A multiplayer-exclusive debuff that makes enemies deal X times more damage to an enemy |
| Frail | Affected players gain 25% less block from cards |
| Grapple (Ironclad) | Whenever you gain block this turn, deal X damage to afflicted enemy |
| Hang | All Hang cards deal X times more damage |
| Knockdown | Multiplayer-exclusive debuff that makes enemies receive X times more damage to enemy this turn. |
| Mangle | Lose X strength until the end of this turn |
| Monarch’s Gaze Strength down (Regent) | Lose X strength until the end of this turn |
| Neurosurge (Necrobinder) | A debuff given to the player. At the start of the turn, the player receives 3 doom. |
| No block | The player cannot gain block from cards for X turns. |
| No draw | The player cannot gain block from cards for X turns. |
| Oblivion (Necrobinder) | Enemies receive X doom whenever a player plays a card this turn |
| Poison (Silent) | At the start of the enemies’ turn, they lose X HP then reduces 1 Poison |
| Shackling Poison (Silent) | Lose X Strength until the end of turn |
| Shrink | From Beetle juice potion. Attacks deal 30% damage. |
| Sic ‘Em (Necrobinder) | Whenever Osty hits an enemy this turn, Summon X |
| Strangle | Enemies lose X HP whenever you play a card this turn |
| Tag Team | Multiplayer-exclusive. The next attack another players plays on the enemy is played an extra time. |
| The Gambit | High-risk high-reward self-debuff. The Gambit card gives players 50 (75 if upgraded) blocks, but if they take unblocked damage this combat, they die. |
