Celestine in Subnautica 2 is a mid-to-late-game resource. It is a valuable crafting material that can be difficult to find without knowing where to look.
So with that in mind, here’s how to find Celestine in Subnautica 2.
Celestine Locations in Subnautica 2
Celestine is a bluish-white resource ore, with visible spikes so it’s easier to distinguish it from others. It is also mainly found in the Observatory, Power Plant and the Root Canyon.
Make sure to bring a Sonic Resonator to destroy the node. Also, your tadpole must have at least a Tadpole Module Mk.1 upgrade to gather these.
Observatory
This is the earliest part where you can gather Celestine. You can get a handful of Celestine location chunks by going to the edge of the Observatory and swimming around 250 meters deep. You will spot some Celestine along the walls, and sea floor.

Power Plant
Around 350-400 meters deep in the Power Plant, you can also find some Celestine along its walls! Note that this is quite near the Power Plant Angel Comb.

Root Canyon
Head northeast of the Power Plant to reach the Root Canyon, the final area of the region. You can find the highest amount of Celestine here. There’s so much here that you might need to take multiple trips to farm them all.
Needless to say, this is the best location for Root Canyon for the late game. The catch is that a gigantic Collector Leviathan hovers around the center of the area, making resource runs much more dangerous. Expect farming sessions here to be a lot more challenging compared to the earlier locations.
