Battery Terminal in Subnautica 2 – How to Charge Batteries

The Battery is one of the most important items in Subnautica 2. It is used to power tools such as the Wakemaker, Scanner, and Sonic Resonator. Unlike Power Cells, batteries are consumed fairly quickly. Instead of constantly crafting new ones, it is more efficient to recharge them.

Here’s how to build a Battery Terminal in Subnautica 2 and charge your batteries.

Battery Terminal locations in Subnautica 2

To unlock the Battery Terminal, you will need to scan its fragments. Fortunately, you can find it in one place.

Travel to the Old Habitat, which is around 360 meters north from the Lifepod.

Swim underneath this area, and enter the base through a hole.

There are two directions that you need to go to in order to unlock the Battery Terminal in Subnautica 2.

Battery Terminal location #1

Take the left side, and enter the next room through this corridor.

Face right, and scan the battery terminal on the wall.

Battery Terminal #2

For the second Battery Terminal, go back to the first room and take the ladder on the right side.

Across the room, next to the dining table, you’ll find the second terminal.

How to Craft Battery Terminals in Subnautica 2

Players will need to use the Habitat Builder in order to build a Battery Terminal.

How to Charge Batteries in Subnautica 2

Players can charge their batteries in Subnautica 2 using the Battery Terminal.

Build the Battery Terminal and attach it to the wall. You will need the following materials such as:

• 2x Titanium
• 2x Quartz
• 1x Copper Wire

After building it, you can open its storage by clicking on the center part. Just place all batteries that need to be charged, and wait.

Why is my battery not charging in the Battery Terminal?

If you come back and notice that your batteries barely changed, you might have to check your base and battery terminal for issues.

• Check that your base has enough power.
• Confirm that charging is enabled in the Battery Terminal.
