How to Get Sonic Resonator in Subnautica 2

One of the early tools available in Subnautica 2 is the Sonic Resonator. It is mainly used for mining large resource deposits, but it can also destroy Bloom Biofilms.

Here’s how to unlock the blueprint in Subnautica 2, along with the materials needed to craft it.

Where to find Sonic Resonator blueprint in Subnautica 2?

In order to unlock the Sonic Resonator Blueprint in Subnautica 2, players will need to find two Sonic Resonator.

Sonic Resonator #1

For the first one, mark the location of the Anita Blackbox and go there. It is around 160 meters north-north east from the Lifepod.

From this spot, face west and swim around 100 meters until you see a large cave covered with coral dome.

Inside the cave, you’ll find multiple items and pieces of equipment. Approach the desk and use the scanner to scan the Sonic Resonator sitting on top of the silver crate.

Sonic Resonator #2

From the Lifepod, head toward the Old Habitat area, located roughly 350 meters north. Swim until a large abandoned base comes into view.

Near the marked location, dive underneath the structure to find a large opening that serves as an entrance. Early on, this is the only accessible way inside, since all hatches are locked from the inside.

From the room where you entered, walk straight forward into the next room. On the left side, there’s a desk with the tool on it. Again, use the scanner to finally unlock the blueprint.
