Subnautica 2 Healing – How to Heal

Subnautica 2

There are moments in Subnautica 2 when you are going to need to heal yourself. You’ll find that there are three ways in which you can do this, these include using a first aid kit, eating food, or using a medical gel sac. Food is pretty self-explanatory so we’ll go through how to get your hands on all of these available options

How to Heal in Subnautica 2

First Aid Kits

The first way to heal in Subnautica 2 is to use first aid kits. They can be found in crates that are left in bases or around wreckages. However, if you do not want to spend your time searching for first aid kits, you do have the option of creating them yourself at the fabricator.

There are two versions of first aid kits: the basic and the enhanced. To make a basic first aid kit, you need just 1 fiber, which restores 50 of your health. If you want to make an enhanced version, you need 1 fiber and 1 medical gel sack, which restores 100 health.

Alternatively, you have the option of making first aid from medical gel, but you need a medical gel sac for that.

Medical Gel Sac

The second method of healing is using a medical gel sac, which is an underwater plant. When you find one, you’ll have to use the survival multi-tool to cut the plant. Once it’s cut, grab the plant and consume it. It heals around 10 health.

Then there is the third option of consuming food but this is pretty self-explanatory. Using a first aid kit is probably the best method because it heals a lot more of your health in the long run. The only caveat is having to craft them and have them on hand.

Now you know the best way to heal in Subnautica 2!
