The Subnautica 2 Repair Tool is a handy piece of equipment. You can use it to mend the Tadpole vehicle and to access secret areas.

How to Get the Subnautica 2 Repair Tool
To craft this item, you must first unlock its blueprint by finding and scanning three Repair Tools. Then, you can craft it using the fabricator.
How to Unlock the Repair Tool Blueprint
All three locations are close to the Lifepod, allowing you to unlock the blueprint early on.
Location 1
The first Subnautica 2 Repair Tool is 230 meters away from the Lifepod. Head southeast and keep going until you spot a massive rock formation on the right. Enter and dive about 40 meters to find a door. Go through it and scan the item on the desk.
Location 2
The second Repair Tool is 270 meters away from the Lifepod. Head south and pass the wreck on the left. Keep going and you will soon reach another wreck. Go around to find the entrance. Enter, go left, and head down to scan the item.
Location 3
The third Repair Tool is 330 meters away from the Lifepod. Head northeast and keep going until you reach a wreck. Go under it to find the entrance. Enter and scan the item. You will also find a Tadpole fragment here.
To craft a Repair Tool, you need the following materials:
- Battery x 1 – Copper is found in the starting area. Harvest Acid Raion creatures to collect Acidic Raion Pouch.
- Wiring Kit x 1 – There are several Silver deposits close to the Lifepod.
- Titanium Ingot x 1 – Titanium is found in the starting area.
- Sulfur x 1 – Head east of the Lifepod into the high-temperature area to find Sulfur.
