Where to Find Subnautica 2 Silver

Silver is usually found in caves. You have to dive below 30 meters to find it. The deposits have a gray color, similar to titanium. You don’t need any special equipment to break small and medium deposits, however, you will need a sonic resonator to harvest large silver nodes.

Early Game Silver Farming Locations

There are several locations you can visit to get silver in the early game. Later on, you will unlock the Scanner Station, a base module that allows you to find the specific location of various points of interest and resources. To unlock the Scanner Station blueprint, you need to find one Scanner Station fragment. There’s one 240 meters to the northeast of the Lifepod. Although you can find it in the early game, you will need silver to craft one of the necessary components, so you cannot use a Scanner Station right away. You should also craft the Tadpole submarine, as some of the locations are quite far.

Once you have a Scanner Station, interact with it and select silver to see the location of all Subnautica 2 Silver deposits within 300 meters. Keep in mind that the scanner also shows the location of already harvested nodes.

These four locations are the easiest to find farming spots in the early game.

Location 1

This location is about 220 meters away from the Lifepod. Head north and enter the caves. Check the walls to find the silver nodes. The cave system is quite large, so you will find plenty of deposits inside.

Location 2

Another great spot to farm silver can be found close to the Old Habitat. You’ll have a mission that takes you there, but you can explore the location before starting it. Head right from the Old Habitat and enter the cave. Dive to about 55 meters and you will start seeing the deposits on the walls and ceiling.

Location 3

Make sure to craft a sonic resonator before visiting this spot. From the Lifepod, travel about 200 meters to the southeast. The large silver formations grow on the bottom of the ocean in this location. Make sure to explore the caves as well.
